Welcome to our third edition of Nominet News for 2007.
The months since our previous edition have been extremely busy, exciting and challenging in equal measure.
At the beginning of June we released our Online Services for registrars and registrants. This major project enables customers to manage their accounts online and lays the foundations for significant developments in the future such as the launch of EPP. On 10 June 2007 we made a fundamental change to the way we store our data. This change was essential to allow us to move forward and develop robust online services, implement new services such as EPP and prepare for new products. This restructuring of our database systems was the largest single technical development that we have undertaken.

Welcome to our second edition of Nominet News for 2007.

I have just returned from Lisbon, where the latest ICANN meeting took place and we have a report on the key issues discussed at that event. - a significant restructuring of all the database systems that underpin our registry support services.
- new Online Services functionality.
- new automaton templates and commands.
