We were pleased to welcome the following four candidates who have been elected to our Policy Advisory Body:

4. Michael Toth

This was the first time we have used electronic voting and we are pleased to report that the number of members voting rose by 29% over last year to 376 and that 59% voted electronically. We experienced a number of minor issues whilst running this trial, including a number of people having trouble accessing the system on a couple of occasions. We have resolved all issues as they have arisen. We consider this to have been a great success and appreciate the support of our members in this switch over.

Where members have informed us that they are happy to switch to electronic communications we will make this switch for all future elections. If you have any feedback you would like to give us about the electronic voting procedure, then please let us know via elections@nominet.org.uk.

If you have yet to switch, please change your communication preference simply by logging on to Online Services and changing the preference in the ‘Member’ section.

Changing your communications preference to email will help us to communicate with you in a more cost effective, consistent, timely and effective manner, reducing paper consumption and ensuring that you get the most out of your Nominet membership.
